On 12/16/23, Syosset AYLUS members taught violin bow hold, sight-reading techniques, open strings, and violin notes to students with ages ranging from 4-8. For the younger students who have little to no experience, basic violin knowledge such as holding the violin and the bow, learning what each string is called learning what each note corresponds to on sheet music was taught. The older members practiced playing open strings, two octave G major scale, and popular violin tunes, on their violin. They also tried learning other scales of different keys in one octave. They were taught playing several lines from advanced Suzuki pieces.
