On December 4th, 2023, the East Pittsburgh Branch volunteers helped out at the Murrysville Community Library to spread holiday cheer. Prior to the event, the volunteers were split into 2 groups. One group managed and made the balloon animals while the other group molded colorful and diverse animals from clay. Both groups met up on December 3rd, 2023 to practice making the animals as well as make a few nice ones in advance. On the day of the event, December 4th, while engaging in festive activities, the volunteers made vibrant balloon animals and molded clay animal figures, delighting the children and families. By actively interacting with children the volunteers were able to ensure a personalized and joyful experience.
