On Friday, December 22nd, volunteers from the AYLUS Columbus Branch held a Holiday performance at the Seton Square North Retirement facility. This year had a much better turnout than the year before as the performance was announced beforehand. Some of our members’ grandparents were among the residents in the facility. This event was organized by one of the members, Enoch, and his mother Eva Chung. From 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., volunteers performed their artistry by playing Piano, Violin, Saxophone, and even performing Kung Fu! The Turnout for the performance was even better than last year, as this year was more organized and official. Although it was a bit lengthy, the residents continued to enjoy the music. The volunteers played music from various genres, including pop, classical, jazz, and holiday songs, in solo or ensemble. Event participants were not only restricted to AYLUS members but friends were invited to play as well. We received a lot of positive feedback. These volunteers continue doing a great job brightening up our community as they share their talents and joy.
