Cece Gao, Mia Gao, and Dominic Gao played chess at Brookdale Dogwood Creek, 8199 Poplar Ave, Germantown, TN on 11/4/2023 from 3pm to 4:30pm. They had a great time with senior residents.

Amira Zhan, Sophie Zhan, Charlotte Cheng, and Eric Zhao played chess at the Gardens of Germantown, 3179 Professional Plaza Dr., Germantown, TN .They were welcomed by the weekend staff Kim and several senior residents. Amira and Sophie played piano, Charlotte performed gymnastics, and Eric performed martial arts. The senior residents really enjoyed watching volunteers performance.

Evan Wu and Daniel Wang played chess at the Gardens of Germantown, 3179 Professional Plaza Dr., Germantown, TN. They were welcomed by the weekend staff Vanessa and 12 senior residents. Amy Wei and Helen Wei played piano. Daniel performed martial arts. They also played Bingo. The senior residents really enjoyed watching volunteers play chess, Bingo and their performance.

Harrison Xiao, Amira Zhan, Sofie Zhan, Cece Gao, Mia Gao, and Dominic Gao played Bingo at the Gardens of Germantown, 3179 Professional Plaza Dr., Germantown, TN
They were welcomed by the weekend staff Kim and several senior residents. The senior residents really enjoyed games with young volunteers.
11/25/2023:
After several days of planning, Evan Wu organized the second fall concert at The Gardens of Germantown, 3179 Professional Plaza Dr., Germantown, TN, where the chess club members play chess every week. He created a flyer and coordinated with a weekend staff member so she could print out the concert program and give to the residents. On 11/25/2023 from 3pm to 4:30pm, 16 AYLUS volunteers (Poppy Wang, Norah Tsoi, Yiqi Chen, Helen Wei, Amy Wei, Missy Pellerin, Sophie Zhan, Amira Zhan, Harrison Xiao, Jaden Dong, Jada Dong, Chad Bao, Rosalyn Bao, Daniel Wang, Isabella Zou, and Anna Zou) performed various acts, including singing, cello, piano, violin, jazz dance, kung fu, and ballet. Over 10 senior residents and weekend staff members enjoyed the concert.
All volunteers served 1.5hrs each time.
