On November 16th, 2023, members of the AYLU-Columbus branch held an in-person weekly tutoring session for the 2023/2024 school year at the Abbey Church Village in Dublin, Ohio. This community is part of the national church residences and serves low income families, including new immigrant families. A few elementary or middle school students came and were able to improve and learn greatly during the session. The experience help younger students was extremely rewarding.
Brenna Li’s mother, Dakun Wang, was the adult supervisors of the session.
