On November 17, 2023 at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch, tutors from all classes, including the Youth Writing Club, the Digital Art Workshop, AoPS, Beast Academy, 1 on 1 tutoring, as well as the English for Elderly, grouped together to share our teaching experiences as well as tips. The tutors also shared ideas to help improve our programs for the future, and solutions for some challenges that one might face. Additionally, the tutors gave valuable tips to new tutors about teaching other students to ensure the best possible learning experience for them. We thank all of our tutors for their hard work and what they have done to have a positive impact on the community and help out others.
A total 23 volunteers of AYLUS attended this event, and each received 1.5 service hours: Hans Yang, Steven Xiao, Andrew Zhou, Colin Xie, Kevin Kan, Emily Zhu, Emmy Zhu, Selina Pan, Jennie Jin, Sophia Song, Angela Xue, Lauren Kan, Katherine Backues, Derek Ying, Enko Luo, Eric Xie , Lingxi Kong, Abhiram Chalamalaselty, Xinyuan Zou, Max Yang, Jintong Wang, Audrey Wu, and Jessica Chen.
