Murrieta AYLUS Lends a hand to Murrieta Field of Honor Event ( 2nd) on 11/04/2023

Reported by Adora Xiao :

On Saturday, November 4, Murrieta AYLUS members lended a hand to the Murrieta Field of Honor.
The volunteers took trips between a truck and the field, placing metal rods in marked areas of the grass. The metal rods were then driven into the grass and secured, while others took the flags and stuck them onto the poles. Taking the rubber bands off of the flags, they then unraveled them entirely. Making rounds to cover the entire field, the field was decorated with countless flags. Then, some of the crosswalks were bordered by special flags with tags. These tags commemorated people who’d passed away in service. Placing the flags in a specific order so their families could find their loved ones, the volunteers then walked around the field to admire the day’s work.

Volunteers :

Wei Liu / Adora Xiao / Caien(Daisy) Chen : 4 hrs ea

Aiying Lu / Jessica Lu : 3.5 hrs ea
