On Sunday, October 28th, at the early hour of 9 AM, AYLUS Oyster Bay began setting up shop at Samanea Mall. Tables and chairs were meticulously arranged, our merchandise was thoughtfully displayed, various products were organized, and price tags were placed. Given the Halloween spirit, a candy platter was also arranged, ready to be distributed to the young trick-or-treaters. Inside the shopping center, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as many kids donned costumes and engaged in various activities like pumpkin painting, costume contests, and face painting.
Much like previous occasions, our dedicated young volunteers took shifts during the morning and afternoon, continuing to sell eco-friendly products. Our inventory featured a wide range of environmentally conscious items, including plant-based biodegradable trash bags, eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes, natural wood pulp cleaning sponges, disposable bibs made from bamboo sticks, laundry detergent sheets without plastics, eco-friendly wheat straw bento lunch boxes, meal plates, travel utensil sets, soup spoons, organic natural bamboo, wheat straws, and more. The young volunteers enthusiastically showcased and explained the importance of these eco-friendly products to the customers and educated the public on the significance of environmental conservation.
At 7 PM in the evening, we concluded the nine-hour long fundraising sale event. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the eighteen young volunteers and their supportive parents for their generous assistance, which made a substantial contribution to the cause of environmental conservation. We are immensely proud of their dedication and efforts.
