On October 7th, 2023, AYLUS Cheshire Branch volunteered at the local Youth Center to teach reading and literacy skills to kids. These would be done in many ways, such as going through books with their partner, helping them through sentences and words, reading the book for them, and helping them do interactive activities involving literacy. In this session, the children were taught the role and importance of firefighters in the community. Below are some pictures of the event:
