AYLUS-Columbus Volunteers Make Crafts for OCCS Mid-Autumn Festival event on October 2nd
On October 2nd, AYLUS volunteers finished collecting handmade, Mid-Autumn themed bookmarks and coloring pages to the Dublin Rec Center, which were used as handouts for the annual Mid-Autumn Festival ‘Culture Corner’ display. The crafts were made during the preceding 2 weeks in collaboration with volunteers at the OCCS Chinese School, who organized the event. Over 90 laminated bookmarks were made, as well as 20 handmade line drawings, which were photocopied and presented as coloring page activities for the Culture Corner. The crafts were enthusiastically received by visitors who attended the event!
