On August 7, 2023, AYLUS Fort Bend Branch members Ethan Li, David Chen, and Bryan Wang planted five moringa seedlings at Memorial Park in Sugar Land, Texas. Throughout the activity, volunteers broke up the rocky soil and dug holes in preparation of planting. Our long term goal is to protect the environment and also provide shade to visitors of the park, as it is known to reach triple digits in the area. Moringa trees grow fast and tall, so they perfectly support this need.
