On July 6th, Frisco & Plano branch members gathered at the Russell Creek Park in Plano and sold a variety of products(Lemonade, cotton candy, gemstone bracelets, soap) to raise money for the shipping fees of the books. While the books have been sorted and packaged, the expensive fees for shipping these books to another continent still need to be paid off. By going to local parks and selling desirable handmade products, customers can spend money on something enjoyable and wholesome while also supporting our cause. On a hot summer day, an ice cold drink of lemonade is quite refreshing for locals taking a stroll in the park. We hope our customers enjoyed our products and we thank the following members volunteering at this event:
