On May 15th, 2023, Columbus branch members, Rachel Zhu, Sitan Gao, Chuqiao Guan, and Brenna Li packed the total of more than 70 pounds of donation from AYLUS-Columbus members to Dublin Food Pantry’s collaborator, Furkuyu Ramen restaurant, to support the cause. The pantry’s board member, Deb Papesh greeted them and made a few videos and photos with them to be used as promotional materials for the pantry for future fundraising events.
The volunteers also had dinner there as 15% of the profit of the restaurant would go to support the pantry. The volunteer hour does not count the time for the dinner.
