Columbus Branch Collected Food and Non-food items from neighbors for Dublin Food Pantry on May 12th, 2023

On the week leading up to May 12th, 2023, the AYLUS Columbus branch collected food and non-food donations from families in their neighborhood and the their own families to be donated to the local Food bank, the Dublin Food Pantry, as part of its 52-week challenge champion to collect donations for the needed community.

Examples of food items collected in this event included ramen, cookies, soup, crackers, oatmeal, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, etc. The volunteers also collected a variety of non-food items needed by the pantry, such as soap and shampoo. The total quantity of the donation was over 150 pounds.
The Dublin Food Pantry provides food, hygiene products, and resources to individuals and families who are experiencing food insecurity in the Dublin, Ohio area. The branch hope the donation can bring some holiday joy and relief to the underserved community that the Dublin Food Pantry serves.
