On April 23rd, West Essex AYLUS member started a music program for special needs children. Livingston Advisory Committee of Disability (LACD) annual talent show is scheduled for May 10th 2023. In order to encourage special needs children to participate in the event, West Essex AYLUS member Valentina Zheng offered music lesson to help them prepare for the show. Our member prepared for the lesson by discussing with the parents, selecting songs for kids to choose, practicing the music prior to the class and design interactive games to help kids focusing on the music. During the class, members taught the song You are My Sunshine and played games on the piano.
