On April 22, Manhasset AYLUS hosted a event at the Manhasset Public Library for autism awareness month and to appreciate both art and nature. Member Jocelyn Liu created a poster with a message for autism acceptance this month. Members learned traditional Chinese calligraphy and looked at art created by high school students to learn more about diverse culture and history. Afterwards, members also informed themselves about the importance of the environment, native and invasive species, and endangered animals.
Members who participated: Jocelyn Liu (5 hours), Loretta Liu (2 hours), Matthew Yang (2 hours), Benjamin Yang (2 hours) and Sophia Liu from AYLUS Syosset Branch (2 hours).
