On 4/22/23, AYLUS Manhasset members participated in a beach cleanup at Sands Point, NY. The objective was to cleanup the beach at the nature preserve. Members were able to collect a lot of trash, and in particular we found many torn off tops of plastic bottles. It was very windy in the morning to noon (10-12 PM), and the overcast sky made it somewhat difficult to see the trash amongst all of the debris.
