A Place at the Table provides community and good food for all regardless of means. It serves anywhere from 30 to 50 free meals a day. The table Embracing Hospitality, Recognizing the Right to be Respected, Celebrating Community. We strive to be a place that breaks walls and barriers between people of different economic class, generations, race, and spiritual backgrounds. We encourage conversation between all people, knowing it will create community and will nourish the soul.Valuing Excellent and Affordable Food. Luke joined the core volunteer team as Busser on April, 22th, 2023. He cleaned up the dishes, napkins, and debris from tables as soon as guests finished lunch. He also mopped the floors in the cafe.
