On March 25th. 2023, West Essex members volunteered for NJ makers day event in Millburn public library at 200 Glen Ave, Millburn, NJ 07041.
New Jersey makers day inspires and activates libraries to showcase and highlight STEM and Maker culture, enhancing life-long learning.
Participates are invited to design and make something cool to take home. Makers tables were set with different options including Button Making, 3D Pens + Printing, LEGO + K’nex, Paper Circuits, Mood Slime, Paper Engineering and more!
West Essex member worked from 10:45am – 2:15pm at the station with a paper circuit, helped kids create energy circuits with copper tape to light an LED light with a magnet.
