AYLUS volunteers had been making Chinese knot bracelets since mid-December, and they have now been collected on January 15th. Over 250 bracelets were made by 19 participating volunteers. These bracelets were mainly used as handouts in the Lunar New Year celebration at Dublin Jerom High School, and some were also donated to other communities such as Senior Star. We also donated these bracelets to the OCCS Chinese school for their Lunar New Year celebrations. Our volunteers dedicated an enormous amount of their holiday time to search for patterns and learn to create these beautiful crafts, which are highly appreciated by our communities!
