On Nov 27th, the Sugar Land Branch members participated in the Monarch Monitoring Program at the Brazos River Park. The volunteers first participated in an online training. They then surveyed the number of milkweed host plants and assessed the relative abundance of blooming plants that provide nectar for adult monarchs.
