On August 21, 2022, AYLUS members visited Aldersgate Outreach Community Center. Upon entering the food bank, they were tasked immediately with taking food out of storage. The members helped open boxes of food and other items, organizing them neatly on a long table. As more and more people appeared to pick up their food, members continued to help guide the people through the long lines of items. Members were kept busy, collecting carts from the parking lot that people used to move the food into their cars, restocking and organizing items, all while guiding people individually through the line. At the end, members helped clean up the community center by wiping and sanitizing the surfaces as well as folding the tables and recycling the the cardboard boxes that were used during that time.
Thank you to the members who participated at the community center.
