On Aug 5, the Sugar Land Branch continued its butterfly garden maintenance project at the Memorial Park Butterfly Garden in collaboration with the City of Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department. Temperatures lately have been high, causing the garden’s soil to dry out and be cracked at times. In response, members watered the flowers and made sure all the plants had sufficient hydration. Also, members pulled weeds to give the flowers room to grow, disposing of them in a distant location.
The participating members were Andrew Lian and Andrew Zheng.
