On July 16th, 2022, the AYLUS Orlando branch adopted Jamestown park and picked up lots of trash, weeds, and renovated the park overall in a timespan of over 2 hours. Jamestown Park is a 1 acre park located south of Oviedo in the Jamestown community. Amenities include a playground and lighted basketball court. The Cross Seminole Trail is also less than 1 mile to the north of the park.
The participants did the following:
- Pick up roughly 2 full bags of trash from the area of the entire park
- Weed the playground and clean up a lot of rogue debris that was scattered throughout the area
This is the second cleanup of 36. This event occurred on July 16th, 2022.
The following members participated in the Jamestown park volunteer activity, 2 hours for following each person: Kevin Wang, Dylan Wang, Jonathan Wang, Jason Wang, James & Simon Gong.
