The 2022 World Games will be held in Birmingham, AL, and the AYLUS Birmingham Branch has coordinated with the World Games (TWG) as a Youth Volunteer Group. They will help at the Games themselves, as well as with set-up and break-down events.
On July 4, AYLUS volunteers met at the BJCC East Exhibition Hall to set up the second venue for the World Games Floorball and Korfball events. They continued rolling out floor mats and completed 3/4 of the arena. Other AYLUS members assembled sensory bags for each TWG event venue, and afterwards, prepared volunteer swag bags that included fans, a water bottle, hats, a TWG shirt, and other miscellaneous supplies for TWG volunteers. These bags were then organized and packaged into boxes to be transported to different locations for distribution.
