The 2022 World Games will be held in Birmingham, AL, and the AYLUS Birmingham Branch has coordinated with the World Games (TWG) as a Youth Volunteer Group. They will help at the Games themselves, as well as with set-up and break-down events.
On July 3, AYLUS volunteers met at the BJCC East Exhibition Hall to set up for the Floorball and Korfball events held at the World Games. They rolled ~30 mats, each ~370lbs, onto the floor and adjusted each mat to line up with the International World Games Association (IWGA) event parameters. Volunteers worked hard to unroll, flip, and adjust all the floor mats until one venue was fully set up.
