The AYLUS Birmingham Branch has continued working with the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on various projects. On April 23, 2022, AYLUS members helped with the annual Earth Day event at the Gardens. Volunteers ran an arts and crafts table, helping children create windsocks and teaching them the importance of the environment around them. Members also continued to water and care for the plants in the vegetable gardens.
