The Sugar Land Branch launched a debate club in Spring 2020. This club, founded and led by Andrew Lian, focuses on helping elementary school students develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, persuasion, and communication.
This meeting marks the end of Spring Break as well as setting up for the upcoming mock tournament. We prepared by going over the schedule as well as assigning each player the time they will go and present. After going over the rules and schedule, we then had a mock round and then gave my final criticism for each person.
