On December 18, the Sugar Land Branch gave a Christmas concert at Gigi’s Playhouse, a Down Syndrome achievement center. Members caroled for an hour, performing traditional songs like Jingle Bells, Greensleeves, and other carols. Through a variety of ensembles–string quartet, piano four hands, and choir, members brought an atmosphere of holiday joy to the center. In addition to Christmas carols, the string quartet also performed Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 4. At the end of the hour, all members joined to give a sing-along performance of We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
The participating members were Olivia Cao, Sarah Liu, Michael Ma, Crystal Nguyen, Christina Xu, Justin Chang, Angela Wang, Serena Li, Emma Jiang, and Albon Wu.
