The AYLUS Birmingham Branch has made significant progress in the restoration of their adopted garden, a collaborative project with the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
On November 13, 2021, AYLUS members joined with students from the UAB Honors College to clear another section of the garden. Similarly to the event held on July 23, volunteers removed weeds and other vegetation from the plot in preparation for its future use. The area will soon be transformed into a pollinator garden for a variety of species to enjoy.
