On October 26, the Sugar Land Branch continued its butterfly garden maintenance project at the Memorial Park Butterfly Garden in collaboration with the City of Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department. Members focused on pulling weeds on all sides of the garden, particularly on its west side, where tall weeds had grown. The Parks Department has recently initiated a flower planting project; hence, members focused on this aspect of maintenance to give the new plants ample room to grow.
The participating members were Aidan Pulmano, Runyan Zhou, Serena Li, Emma Jiang, and Albon Wu.
