During the month of July 2021, the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS held online youth tutoring activities, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The East Cobb Branch has also started doing some in person tutoring again. All tutoring activities are either one-on-one or use Zoom to teach.
Jack Xu of East Cobb AYLUS participated in the youth tutoring project, tutoring kids in a variety of subjects, including math, reading, language arts and music theory, to three middle school students. Some were online, while others were in person at his house or at the local church. Through tutoring, they were greatly able to improve their skills at their respective subjects. Jack also enjoyed seeing his students improve and get better.
