On August 15th, 2021, the San Fernando Valley Branch of AYLUS visited the Royal Garden Board and Care in Tarzana. Our members engaged in conversations and played the piano and sang songs such as “Amazing Grace” for the enjoyment of the elders. This activity was filled with a lot of piano playing, singing, and a lot of laughter. The seniors enjoyed the time we spent with them. All in all, we spent more than one hour with the patients and staff at the facility. Members Jason Xie and Benjamin Kozikaro-Sanchez organized and planned the event. Both the volunteers and the seniors had a great time together.
