On August 14, the Sugar Land Branch continued its butterfly garden maintenance project with the Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department at Memorial Park. Members focused on the garden’s west side, which contained weeds that had grown to substantial sizes. After pulling as many weeds as possible to give the flowers room to grow and flourish, members disposed of the weeds by allowing them to decompose in a designated area away from the garden.
The participating members were Runyan Zhou, Jason Yen, Amy Liu, Serena Li, Emma Jiang, and Albon Wu.
