On July 25th, 2021, AYLUS Scottsdale participated in the 2020-2021 National AYLUS virtual Conference. Members that participated in the first portion of the conference listened to professionals from JPMorgan, Facebook, and Intel that gave inspirational stories about how they are inspired to work in their field, why they choose to do it, etc. Members that participated in the second portion of the conference listened to rising undergraduates from top universities and colleges (Stanford, Harvard, MIT, etc.) talk about their experiences with college applications, community service, science research, and connecting with others via personal branding and networking, with a raffle to conclude the meeting. The members that participated in this conference are: Andrew Yang (7 hrs – 8 sessions), Laura Wang (7 hrs – 8 sessions), Leona Wang (7 hrs – 8 sessions), Bridget Chen (6.5 hrs – 7 sessions), Logan Zhao (6 hrs – 6 sessions), Alex Zou (5 hrs – 5 sessions), William Chu (2 hrs – 2 sessions), Shaw Hu (1 hr – 1 session).
