On Wednesday, July 21st, the Warren Branch volunteered at the Community Foodbank of New Jersey. Members were assigned in groups of 3 to large crates of uncooked pasta, where members scooped pasta into individual plastic bags for distribution later. 16 plastic bags were then packaged and sealed into boxes, with bags and boxes both labeled with ingredients and the type of pasta. Over the course of three hours, the Warren Branch packaged over 60 boxes of pasta! Overall, volunteering at the food bank was fun, and members plan on continuing to volunteer there in the future.
