During the first week in July, AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers continued their sciences Challenge Camp Program. The program allows volunteers to provide guidance on the sciences to interested students.
They taught over Zoom or Facetime, helping students learn scientific topics. Volunteers placed an emphasis on helping their students understand the subjects of their teachings. Their sciences challenge camp activities included:
Meijia He taught her student Andrew Xu java on Saturday, 7/3, for one and a half hours.
Luke Qiao taught his students Angela Xue, Christina Huang Java Coding on Saturday, 7/3, for one and a half hours.
Hausen Wu taught his students William Cheng, Brian Yang, Stephen Ye, and Emily Huamg python on Saturday, 7/3, for one and a half hours.
In total, there were 10 participants in this event, with 3 volunteers.
The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 70th online Sciences Challenge Camp activity on the first week of July, 2021.
