During the first week of July, AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers continued their arts Challenge Camp Program. The program allows volunteers to provide musical and artistical guidance to interested students.
They taught over Zoom or Facetime, helping students learn and practice various musical and artistical skills. Volunteers placed an emphasis on helping their students grow accustomed to playing music and achieving other artistical levels of success. Their arts challenge camp activities included:
Edward Liu taught Lily Qin piano for one hour on Saturday, 7/3.
Emma Li taught Emily Chen and Katherine Backues flute for one and a half hours on Saturday, 7/3.
Eric Li taught Andrew Chen saxophone for one and a half hours on Saturday, 7/3.
In total, there were 7 participants in this event, with 3 volunteers.
The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 70th online Arts Challenge Camp Activity on the first week of July, 2021.
