Event description: On Monday, July 5, 2021, members of the Saratoga AYLUS branch volunteered to distribute posters about the water crisis. Our goals were finding a way to help the environment and spreading awareness. Walking along the shore and nearby parking areas, volunteers collected around 6 bags’ worth of trash, including things from plastic cans to cigarettes to straws. At the end of the event, the collected items were disposed of safely.
