On July 5, the Sugar Land Branch continued its maintenance project of the Sugar Land Memorial Park Butterfly Garden. This time, members focused on weeds on the northern side of the garden, which have especially brittle stalks and deep weeds. Members worked in the muddy area, eventually pulling a large pile of weeds. This prevented the weeds from proliferating in the area, especially since the conditions on that side of the garden facilitate rapid plant growth. Overall, the garden was far clearer after members finished their work.
The participating members were Jason Yen, Amy Liu, Serena Li, and Albon Wu.
