On June 26th, 2021, AYLUS Scottsdale volunteered to pick oranges for eventual donation to various locations throughout the valley. For 4 hours, the members of AYLUS Scottsdale organized and directed volunteers with various tools and implements to efficiently collect oranges from over twenty orange trees. These very oranges will be donated to senior centers across the valley on June 26th to demonstrate Scottsdale’s commitment to volunteerism. Overall, the operation was a resounding success and an excellent test of member abilities to effectively serve the community of Scottsdale. The members that participated in this event are Alex Zou(4 hrs), Andrew Yang(4 hrs), Harold Hu(4 hrs), Shaw Hu(4 hours), Logan Zhao(4 hrs), William Chu (3 hrs).
