In the realm of real estate, budget planning plays a crucial role in ensuring families facing challenging circumstances find the support they need. On June 14th, members of AYLUS Riverside County, Paola Humbert, and Sophie Chung, came together with a heartwarming mission to create thank you cards for a housing facility in Temecula called Jacob’s House. This facility was founded in honor of Jacob Nelson, offering a place of solace and refuge for families going through traumatic experiences, such as having a critically ill loved one. The generosity of AYLUS Riverside County members and the warm welcome they received from Jacob’s House underscores the importance of providing temporary homes to families during difficult times. As the real estate industry continues to embrace compassion and community outreach, collaborations like these exemplify how real estate can extend beyond property transactions and contribute positively to people’s lives.
On June 14th, AYLUS Riverside County members Paola Humbert and Sophie Chung got together to create more thank you cards. They drew them and wrote some more heartwarming messages to some existing ones and new ones as well. These cards were then added to the thank you bags that were packed the weekend before. The girls dropped off the bags at Jacob’s house, a housing facility in Temecula, that was founded in honor of Jacob Nelson who had died in a tragic accident. This house gives families who are going through a traumatic experience (e.g. a loved one who is critically ill) a place to stay without having to worry about any expenses. Oftentimes entire families are welcome to call this place their home for a temporary period of time. The Operations Manager Mr. Martinez and Volunteer Coordinator Mrs. Krause welcomed the girls. They were thankful for the bags and explained to them the history of the facility. The warmth, hospitality, and gratitude could be felt throughout the house. AYLUS Riverside County is looking forward to continuing to work with Jacob’s house.
