AYLUS Riverside County members hosted their first STEAM summer camp on June 5th, 2021. For the first day, the members decided to focus their topic on marine life and marine conservation. The AYLUS team consisting of Chandler Berry, Evan Chang, Kayla Paulsen, Alyssa Paulsen, Kyan Chang, and Sophie Chung worked together to bring this topic alive. After an educational introduction, the team dove into shark-infested territories. This educational journey ended in a fun Kahoot quiz where the marine science material was reinforced. Day one of this STEAM summer camp ended with the creation of a cute jellyfish.
