Alvin Zhou at Sugar Land Branch Junior Support Program started session 3 of the Intensive Reading on 5/4/2021. It was targeting 4th-5th graders, 1.5 hours per lesson, and numerous books that would be discussed as a 6-8 person group. The four books those we will discuss are Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, Northern Lights by Philip Pullman, The Call of the Wild by Jack London, and Then by Morris Gleitzman.
Alvin hosted Lesson 19-22 on 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, and 5/25; Meanwhile, Annabelle joined as co-leading instructor on 5/18/2021 and 5/25/2021. We finished intensive reading for Hatchet by Gary Paulsen and Northern Lights by Philip Pullman.
