On May 8, the Sugar Land Branch Continued the Stay Fit At Home Exercise Sessions. Instructors led with a warm up of ankle rolling and leg/arm stretches. Instructors explained the importance of warming up before participating in moderate-strenuous physical activity. They demonstrated many warmup exercises including runner’s lounge position (leg stretch), head rolling, arm circles, knee to elbow (hip rotation), and jumping jacks (to get the blood flowing). Following right into the main set, instructors led some cardio exercises including many burpees! The next set was a mix of arm exercises and crunches. The session ended with a 30 sec plank. AYLUS instructors were Nicole and Isabella Wu. The session lasted for 30 minutes.
