Greater Princeton AYLUS Continues Bilingual Tutoring Program (42nd) in April 2021

The Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) students continue their Bilingual Tutoring Program in March. The program allows GPA members to provide reading, writing, speaking, math, and communication to their students across the country.

They had conversations over various video calling platforms, such as Zoom or Facetime, with students about topics they are interested in, such as movies, games, and school. Their bilingual tutoring activities included:

GPA member Catherine Feng managed this bilingual tutoring program (4/25, 2 hrs).

Feiying Qian and Siquan Qiu teamed up to teach their student English through conversations for 2 hours on Saturday, 4/24, from 1:00-3:00 pm. 

Zilu Cheng taught her 8-year-old student math for 1 hour on Saturday, 4/24.

Ruofei Olivia Mao tutored her student Summer for 2 hours each on Saturdays 4/10 and 17, from 1-3 pm. She also played English relative games and did reading comprehension with her student for 2 hours on Saturday, 4/24, from 1-3 pm.

Yan Fischer (4/24, 1 hr) tutored kids reading and writing.

Abigail Bao (4/23, 2 hrs; 4/25, 2 hrs; 4/26, 2 hrs) and Angela Bao (4/23, 2 hrs; 4/25, 2 hrs/ 4/26, 2 hrs) taught a few students in the subjects of English reading and writing, focusing on story-telling.
