On April 18, the Sugar Land Branch continued its maintenance of the Memorial Park Butterfly Garden. Because members covered plants during the winter freeze that struck Texas, the garden’s plants were in full bloom (see below). As per the usual spring maintenance at the garden, members pulled weeds from around flowers to allow them enough room and sunlight to grow. Also, members cut and collected dead branches that were blocking plants’ growth. In all, the Sugar Land Branch gathered a large pile of weeds and dead branches that members disposed of accordingly.
