Greater Princeton AYLUS Continues Math Tutoring for Kids (64th) in April 2021

In April 2021, student members of the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) teamed up and continued teaching kids in the subjects of math.

GPA member Annie Miao (4/18, 2 hrs): Annie and her tutee continued discussing equations with inequalities and solving for variables with the various signs. Her tutee also learned about how to show inequalities on a number line with rays, closed circles, and open circles.

GPA member Annabelle Huang (4/17, 2 hrs) tutored math to a middle school student.

GPA members Karen Yang (4/18, 2 hrs) and Kevin Song (4/18, 2 hrs): This week we continued our Algebra content! First, we answered a warm up question. Students had more trouble with last week’s homework so we discussed and did the problems together, understanding what went wrong along the way. We also did word problems surrounding systems of equations too. Next, we played a game of Gimkit on the system of equations. Finally, we introduced homework and we’ll be having class next week!
