Over the past few months, members of the Sugar Land Branch have been sprouting seeds at home for a city project. A new road connecting the Sugar Land Memorial and Brazos River Parks is under construction, along which landscaping is required. The plants have since started sprouted; on March 20, the Sugar Land Branch gathered to transfer the first of these plants to the road. First, members dug shallow rows in the soil along the road with shovels. Members then transferred the sprouted plants into the soil and covered and watered them.
Afterward, participants volunteered at the Butterfly Garden, cutting dead branches and disposing of them accordingly.
The participating members were Ethan Li, Justin Chang, and Albon Wu.
