The Sugar Land Branch launched a debate club in Spring 2020. This club, founded and led by Andrew Lian, focuses on helping elementary school students develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, persuasion, and communication.
Today we worked on our block file and introduced the new student, Leo. We also played a game where we would practice how fast we come up with arguments. During which, the coach would raise an argument related to the topic and afterwards the students would have to respond to it.
